I am certainly proud of my law school alma mater. The University of Texas School of Law is a top rated law school. Receiving my law degree from this institution was an accomplishment. However, as time passes, it is nice to be reminded of the reasons why I felt proud of this accomplishment upon receiving my law school diploma. In the last two years, two separate classmates have been selected to clerk for United States Supreme Court Justices.
As one could imagine, this prestigious position is reserved for only the finest legal minds in the country. For the individual selected, it separates them from their contemporaries as one of the premier legal “thinkers” in the country. For the University of Texas, and the students who graduated from there, it is a reminder of the hard work, the competitiveness, and the desire to succeed that embodied the character of the institution.
